My face was burnin’ she glanced at me
My heart was beating so-so deep
Her lips I wanted to feel
The night to enrich with a kiss.

I wanted to twirl her red hair
Her cute face kindly to caress
Till dawn together to dance
That would’ve been our sweet romance.

She would be my kind Queen
I'd be happier than I've been
Wouldn't count money nor hours
We could make love ours

Our dirty boots avoid the roots
